Recommendation to Parents & Guardians

  • Parents are requested to co-operte with the school authorities by taking interest in the progress of their children and enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline.
  • An Open House Meet will be held as scheduled in the hand-book. Parents/guardians are requested to attend the meet and discuss their child's/ward's progress with the teachers.
  • Parents are requested not to criticize the school or teachers in front of the students. Those who wish to seek any clarification, information or make any suggestions or complaint should do so directly to the Principal and not to the class teacher.
  • The Principal can be met during school hours on all working days in the office only and not at his/her residence.
  • Unit and Terminal Assessments will be conducted from time to time to assess the performance of students. Those who are ill should produce a Medical Certificate for absence.
  • Answer papers and progress reports will be sent to the parents after every assessment. Parents are requested to go through the answer papers and progress report carefully and return it to the class teacher within 2 days, duly signed. On non-receipt of the answer papers and progress report, parents are requested to contact the Principal/Headmaster/Class Teacher.
  • Parents are requested not to send children to school when they are suffering from any contagious or infectious disease. After recovery they must bring a fitness certificate from the doctor certifying that the child is to attend the class and the disease unlikely to spread to others.
  • Parents are requested not to give money to their children, (unless on written request from the school) except absolutely necessary. eg. for bus.
  • Never send the child with empty stomach to the school. That may cause health hazards.
  • Intimate the school whether the child has any illness. Also inform the remedial measures taken and the medicine prescribed by the doctor.
  • Never allow the child to carry water in plastic bottles.
  • Parents must ensure that no child remains in the school premises after 4.15 p.m. Unless instructed by the school authorities.
  • Parents are requested to see that their children come neatly and smartly dressed.
  • Parents should encourage their children to take active part in the co- curricular activities of the school and national and cultural celebrations. Allow your child to learn and imbibe Indian values & culture.
  • Parents are requested not to enter class rooms and meet the teachers during school hours. If they wish to meet the class teacher, they may do so only after getting prior appointment through the Principal/Headmistress.
  • Parents should check the diary and note the communication from the teachers. Also note the homework set and see that the work is done.
  • Parents are requested to give the children enough time to relax.
  • Restrict the time spent on watching TV using the computer. Select good TV and using the computer. Select good TV programmes. Avoid programmes with violence (continuous exposure will lead to temper tantrums, restlessness, nightmares, poor handwriting)
